Racing Pigeons were used during World War I and World War II to carry important messages from the front to military headquarters, and these messages saved 10’s of thousands of allied lives. Now again, we are enlisting our racing pigeons, to again carry the message of the needs of today’s veterans, who have special needs requiring special homes.
Our birds will participate in a cross country relay, between September 11th and November 11th (Veterans Day) flying nearly 4000 miles, in 62 days, and crossing 11 states, starting in Washington State and ending in Dayton Beach, Florida.
